Albert is a dedicated leader with a distinguished career spanning both military and civilian sectors. A proud native of Philadelphia, Albert’s journey began when he was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps in 1990 through the NROTC program at Marquette University. Throughout his military career, Albert served in various roles and deployments, including commanding Battery A 1/10 and serving as a Transition Team Chief in Iraq.  

Albert’s leadership skills were further honed through his “B” Billets in Northern Virginia, where he served in roles such as Action Officer, Aide de Camp, and Artillery/Rockets Requirements Officer. He also served as the NROTC Unit Executive Officer and Professor of Leadership and Management at Marquette University, where he made significant contributions to the development of future leaders. His leadership style, characterized by engagement, creativity, and a strong work ethic, consistently improved morale and productivity at every level of responsibility. 

Albert’s academic credentials include a Masters in Operational Planning from Marine Corps University and a Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Marquette University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from Marquette University. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, earning multiple awards for his meritorious service and dedication. 

Transitioning to the civilian sector, Albert found success in Information Technology Project Management at Rockwell Automation before assuming his current role as Assistant Director in Cybersecurity Engineering for Northwestern Mutual. In this capacity, Albert continues to demonstrate his leadership and expertise, contributing to the security and success of a prominent financial institution. 

Throughout his career, Albert has excelled in project management, communications, human resources, learning and development, and leadership. His ability to translate strategy into tactical action and enable the potential of colleagues at all levels of an organization has been instrumental in driving measurable performance impact.
