Dr. Avril Bingue brings over 20 years of experience in education, spanning various academic levels and instructional settings. With a Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Second or Other Language, an Ed.S. in Computing Technology in Education, an MA in Education with a concentration in Special Education, and a BA in English, Dr. Bingue is well-equipped to address the diverse needs of students from different backgrounds and abilities. 

Currently serving as a LEVEL 3 Instructional Leader and Pre K-12 Special Education Teacher at STRIDE, INC K12 in Herndon, VA.  She works closely with students and parents to tailor individualized learning plans and coordinates multidisciplinary meetings to support students with Individualized Education Programs. 

Prior to her current role, Dr. Bingue held positions at various institutions, including the College of Southern Nevada, where she instructed the Your Education Success (YES) program for 11th and 12th-grade students with disabilities, and Clark County School District, where she played a key role in the Transition-to-Work Program, providing classroom instruction and career exploration guidance. 

Dr. Bingue’s extensive experience in education, combined with her dedication to student success and her technological proficiency, make her a valuable asset to our board. We are excited to welcome her expertise and passion for education to our team, where she will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of our mission and goals.
