Kathleen Shollenberger, an accomplished professional with a diverse background in education and non-profit. Kathleen’s journey has been driven by her passion for serving others and her commitment to making a positive impact in the community. 

With a Bachelor of Science in Education from St. Petersburg College, Kathleen began her career as a dedicated educator, teaching third grade with a focus on students with disabilities in Florida. Her role as a teacher allowed her to develop strong instructional strategies, foster positive relationships with students and parents, and create engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. 

In addition to her work in education, Kathleen has been actively involved in volunteering and community service initiatives. She has worked with organizations such as Citizens Alliance for Progress and Carwise Middle School, providing tutoring and support to students in need. As a Girl Scout Leader, Kathleen has empowered young girls to become leaders in their communities, facilitating service projects and fostering creativity and leadership skills. 

Kathleen’s professional journey took a new direction when she transitioned into the trust industry, bringing her unique perspective and understanding of social and economic challenges to her role. As the Vice President of Advancement at Secured Alliance and its affiliate organizations Secured Futures and The Good Shepherd Fund, Kathleen leads the advancement team in cultivating relationships, fostering philanthropic support, and developing strategic partnerships to further our mission and expand our reach.   

With a diverse skill set that includes exemplary leadership, strategic vision, and a passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve, Kathleen brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to her role. Her commitment to making a difference, both in her professional career and through volunteer work, exemplifies her dedication to serving others and making the world a better place.
